The Zebra Plant, Calathea zebrina, is the perfect plant for an office or any low low light location.  It’s very easy to grow in almost any indoor location.

Calathea is a tropical plant from Brazil, Guyana, Colombia and Nicaragua. The handsome leaves are the attraction for tropical gardeners and indoor plant lovers as well. These intricately patterned leaves have deep, reddish-purple undersides.

They are easy to grow indoors. Although they will thrive in low light conditions you can, at most, provide bright, indirect light. Keep evenly moist, not wet or dry.
