How and When to Prune Gardenia Shrubs
Gardenia shrubs can get a bit over-grown. They don’t respond well to heavy pruning but the occasional ‘clean up’ is a good idea. After your shrubs have finished blooming, remove any dead blooms. If you want to tidy up the general shape of your Gardenia shrubs, simply trim some of the newer foliage growing out to get it back to it’s natural form.
