Abelia (Abelia x grandiflora)
Abelia shrubs are available for hardiness grow zones 6 to 9. In zone 6 they are semi-evergreen, losing up to half its leaves in areas with very cold winters. Some varieties are known for their graceful, arching branches while others are more spreading. Abelia have been a favorite in southern landscapes for quite a few years.
