Description
Autumn Embers Encore® Azalea features bright red blooms that keep repeating spring, summer, and fall. Autumn Embers are considered a semi-dwarf evergreen shrub, not getting much bigger than 3 to 4 feet tall & wide. This is an Encore Azalea that is low maintenance once established. Autumn Embers pruning usually isn’t required because of its compact mounding growth habit. If you do want to prune away some excess or dead branches, it is recommended to prune in late fall, after the Azaleas are done blooming.
Autumn Embers Encore® Azalea are smaller, making them great for borders along a walkway or driveway. Planting in mass will create a focal point for any landscape. Red looks good with white so consider planting them along with a white azalea, like Autumn Angel.
