Months of Blooms Are a Magnet For Butterflies & Hummingbirds
Bloom-a-thon® Double Pink Azalea will give you months of amazing, pink blooms. This Proven Winners® selection is a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies. Unlike many other azaleas, this one can handle cold temperatures up to zone 6. The Bloom-a-thon Double Pink Azalea can also bloom for up to 8 months. You can enjoy the amazing blooms of an azalea more than just a few weeks each spring. This beauty will re-bloom spring, summer & fall.
Bloom-a-thon Double Pink Azalea grows best with some sun, preferably morning sun. Bloom-a-thon Azalea’s can handle most soil conditions as long as they drain well. Pruning is generally not needed but if you do, prune these azaleas in late fall, after they are done blooming. Water well after planting until established.
This is an evergreen shrub that will make a great medium size hedge. They would also look good as a grouping of 3 or 5 in a natural area that gets some filtered sunlight. They are also popular in containers.
