Description
Autumn Coral Encore is an Azalea That is Cold Hardy to -15 Degrees!
Autumn Coral is another Encore Azalea That can handle the cold (Autumn Amethyst is another one). It is rated for up through Grow Zone 5. As with all other Encore Azaleas, Autumn Coral will bloom in spring, summer & fall. The blooms themselves are a pink to coral color with flecks of dark pink.
Autumn Coral performs best in part shade or what is referred to as dappled sun. Also called filter sun, it’s what plants beneath larger shade trees usually get.
Autumn Coral is considered a dwarf, getting only 2 to 3 feet tall and wide. That makes it perfect for walkways, driveways, and mixed borders.
