Description

Blue Pacific Juniper would make a great evergreen ground cover. It is tolerant of salt water, making it perfect for planting beds along the coasts. Blue Pacific would also look good in rock gardens. It is full sun, heat & humidity tolerant.

Features: Low growing, no more than a foot or two but spreads pretty quickly; up to 6 feet wide.  Leathery dense evergreen foliage is soft. Blue Pacific is a truly deer resistant shrub.

One of the biggest issues people report with Blue Pacific Junipers are the foliage turning brown & falling off from the inside out. This is a sign that your Blue Pacific Juniper is getting too much water, or is in an area where water does not drain well. These situations can result in a fungal issue which actually results in what has been described.  It is very tough to kill off once it has invaded your shrub. You best bet would be to contact your local county extension office for advice best suited for your climate.
