Description
Orange Rocket Barberry is a relatively new hybrid ornamental shrub from the Southern Living collection. It offers vibrant, changing color for months. The foliage starts out orange, ages to a dramatic green before turning ruby red in fall. The shrub thrives in full sun & has an upright growth habit. Orange Rocket Barberry are deer resistant and drought tolerant. They have pale yellow flowers in spring followed by red berries.
Note: Orange Rocket Barberry is not an evergreen. It will drop its leaves for winter.
