Sky Box Holly (ilex), a Proven Winners selection, is a Japanese holly. It has a mounding growth habit that gets about 2-3 feet tall & wide.As a Japanese holly, Sky Box branching has a more upright growth habit. It is a great alternative to boxwood shrubs.

Sky Box Holly shrubs are known for their toughness.  They can withstand urban pollution, ocean salt spray and are even drought tolerant once established. Sky Box Holly shrubs grow in a very uniform manner, meaning they rarely need pruning. Sky Box Holly are considered fast growing and would be great as a unique, medium sized hedge.
