Autumn Twist is one of the best selling Encore® Azaleas. Once established, it is very easy to grow with very little care. It blooms for 3 season (spring, summer & fall) and is a bit more heat tolerant than other varieties. The blooms are a light purple but have streaks of different shades. It’s hard to find any two blooms alike. The leaves turn purple in winter, providing a great ‘twist’ of color during a typically drab yard & garden.
Use Autumn Twist Encore® Azaleas for borders, mass plantings, especially in natural areas. They are also used along foundations, in front of taller evergreen foundation plants.
