Frost Proof Gardenia

Description

Frost Proof Gardenia has an Amazing Fragrance on a Cold Hardy Evergreen Shrub

This Gardenia can tolerate more direct sunlight than other gardenias. Frost Proof is also late spring blooming so its gorgeous white blooms aren’t damaged by cool spring frosts.

Most other Gardenia buds can freeze and never develop into flowers. So, you get a skimpy showing or no blooms at all. In colder areas areas like Grow Zone 7 you will still need to protect them in the winter time for extended period of hard frost.
