Winterstar Boxwood

Description

Winterstar Boxwood is a Cold Hardy Dwarf Evergreen

Part of the Southern Living Plant Collection, the Winterstar™ Boxwood offers bright green, glossy foliage all year long. Winterstar, Buxus microphylla, is a cold hardy shrub popular because of  its dense green foliage, low maintenance and resistance to deer and pests.

Winterstar Boxwoods can be used as a low hedge, mass plantings for small gardens, as a border planting, along foundations, and much more. Since this Boxwood is a dwarf and maintains its naturally rounded shape, it can provide you with a very manicured look.

This plant is heat and drought tolerant, deer resistant, as well as disease tolerant, making it an easy to grow plant, even for a beginner.
