Description
Chestnut Hill is similar to Otto Luyken Laurel except Chestnut Hill is more of a dwarf shrub with with much more dense foliage. At about 4 feet tall, Chestnut Hill Cherry Laurel works great as a foundation shrub or a short hedge. It is popular with commercial landscapers because it is a tough evergreen shrub.
Chestnut Hill grows in most soil conditions, except soil that is constantly wet. It can grow in full sun to part shade. It really can grow almost anywhere. Chestnut Hill is even drought tolerant once established.
