Green Mountain Features Dense Foliage on a Pyramidal Shape Boxwood

Green Mountain Boxwood is an upright Boxwood with a naturally pyramidal form. It creates a more formal look. It has a unique shape and is faster growing than many other Boxwood varieties. New growth starts out bright, glossy green. Like most boxwood evergreen shrubs, Green Mountain can handle pruning well. Even though it can grow up to 5 feet tall, it can be pruned to keep it at almost any height you prefer.

As with most other Boxwood shrubs, Green Mountain growth rate is slow. As with most boxwood shrub varieties, it is deer, rabbit, pest and disease resistant. It grows best in full sun to part shade but try to avoid any space where it gets a lot of late afternoon sun in summer. Green Mountain Boxwood is popular as a formal hedge, foundation plants or as an accent. They are used where the look of a small tree is wanted, and commonly planted in containers for a stately feel.
