Daphne (Daphne x burkwoodii)

There are evergreen, semi-evergreen & deciduous varieties. NOTE: These are toxic with the berries as well as leaves are considered poisonous. Most are shade tolerant. Many are also cold hardy ranging from hardiness grow zone 4 through 8.  Just keep in mind that the plant could lose up to half its leaves in winter in zones 4 and 5.
