April Kiss Camellia

April Kiss Camellia  was developed to have improved winter cold hardiness and a later bloom cycle than most other Camellia japonica. April Kiss is one of the few Camellia japonica recommended for growing in USDA Zone 6a.

April Kiss can be grown as a shrub or small tree.

April Kiss Camellia produces an abundance of stunning, 3-4 inch formal double flowers with shades of soft pink to almost red. Blooms will appear in late winter through mid spring.  The foliage is a dark, glossy green. April Kiss can handle most soil conditions as long as it is well drained.
