You will need approximately 1 male to every 5 female winterberry shrubs planted. A deciduous shrub, Mr. Poppins will lose its leaves in the winter. Mr. Poppins is popular as a pollinator because it is not very big. It will not take up a lot of space at a mature height of 3 feet tall and wide.
